Tuesday’s election results sent shock waves across America. The magnitude of the Democratic victory, and the advancement of the progressive agenda that came with it, exceeded the expectations of nearly every political observer. What was anticipated to be a difficult election for Republicans became a sweeping shift in political power: both chambers of Congress, a majority of the nation’s governorships, and seats flipped in states that have been reliably conservative for a generation. The consequences will shape our nation’s direction for years to come.
Let the IFA community know how to pray for you.
For Christians, this is not simply a political development to be analyzed and absorbed. It is a moment that demands serious spiritual examination, renewed conviction, and fervent prayer.
Facing the Magnitude
The first reality we must confront is the size of what happened. The progressive movement gained far more ground than most anticipated, and it gained it in places few expected. These results will influence the direction of American government, legislation, and public policy at every level, from the committee rooms of the Capitol to the statehouses and the courts.
We should not minimize this. Honest assessment is the beginning of honest prayer.
But Christians must remember that God has not surrendered His authority over our nation. Daniel 2:21 declares, “He removeth kings, and setteth up kings.” That verse was written by a man living under a pagan empire, serving a ruler who did not know the God of Israel. Daniel did not lose his faith because of who sat on the throne. He understood that the throne itself was under a higher authority.
Political power changes hands. God’s sovereignty does not.
Rejecting Simple Answers
We must also reject simplistic explanations for the election. No single issue accounts for an outcome of this magnitude. Economic anxiety, rising living costs, gasoline prices tied to the conflict with Iran, dissatisfaction with political leadership, and changes in who turned out to vote all warrant careful examination. Those who tell you it was one thing are usually telling you the one thing they already believed.
There is no single political explanation. And Christians must not ignore the spiritual questions this moment raises, because those questions are the ones that matter most.
A Matter Demanding Prayer: Israel
One development demanding prayerful attention came on the morning of Election Day itself, when President Trump announced that the United States will end its annual military assistance to Israel, roughly four billion dollars a year, by the end of December, two years ahead of the existing agreement. Israeli officials were reportedly caught by surprise.
Genesis 12:3 records God’s promise to Abraham: “I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee.”
The treatment of Israel is a serious matter for Christians who understand the continuing significance of God’s covenant promises. We must be careful here. We must not casually declare that an election result is divine punishment for a particular policy announced on the same day. That is not ours to know, and it is not how Scripture teaches us to read providence. Nevertheless, America’s relationship with Israel demands careful consideration, and believers must pray for wisdom among those making these decisions, in Washington and in Jerusalem.
Psalm 122:6 commands us to “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.” America must not treat its relationship with Israel as merely another line in a budget or another political calculation.
But there is an even deeper issue before us.
God’s Perfect Will
God’s perfect will for our nation is not determined by the outcome of an election. It is revealed through the unchanging truth of His Word.
God’s perfect will calls us to protect innocent human life, to honor His design for marriage between one man and one woman, and to uphold righteous government, lawful order, and the responsibilities entrusted to civil authorities. These are not partisan positions. They are the moral order written into creation and confirmed throughout Scripture.
From a biblical Christian perspective, policies that permit the destruction of unborn children or that undermine the biblical institution of marriage contradict God’s revealed moral standards, no matter how many votes they receive.
Christians also have a responsibility to examine immigration and border policies in light of Scripture’s teachings about lawful authority, compassion for the stranger, fairness, and the protection of human life. Scripture holds these together; we must not pull them apart to fit a party platform.
Proverbs 14:34 declares: “Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.”
An election cannot redefine righteousness. A political majority cannot overturn God’s Word. And government authority does not make what is morally wrong morally right.
Our responsibility is to remain faithful to biblical truth regardless of which political party holds power. That was true last week. It is true this morning.
God’s Permissive Will
This brings us to the central spiritual question. If these developments contradict God’s revealed standards, why has He permitted them?
To answer that, we must understand God’s permissive will.
God’s permissive will encompasses the circumstances He allows within His sovereign rule, including human decisions that run contrary to His commands. He does not author sin, but He permits it, and He governs even the consequences.
In 1 Samuel 8, Israel demanded a king “like all the nations.” God told Samuel plainly that the people had not rejected Samuel; they had rejected the Lord Himself. He warned them in detail about what a king would cost them: their sons, their daughters, their fields, their freedom. And then He permitted them to make that choice.
God did not cease to be sovereign. He allowed His people to experience the consequences of their decision, and He kept working His purposes through it. Out of that very line of kings would come David, and out of David’s line would come the Messiah.
That biblical account teaches an essential principle: what God permits is not necessarily what God approves. And what God permits, He is still able to redeem.
We cannot claim to know every purpose God has in allowing a particular election result. But Scripture gives us firm instruction about how His people must respond.
First, we must examine where we have placed our trust. Political leadership matters. Elections matter. Laws matter. But political power cannot substitute for spiritual transformation, and it was never meant to. Psalm 20:7 declares: “Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.” The Church must reject the temptation to place its ultimate confidence in presidents, political parties, or congressional majorities. If Tuesday night shook us more than it should have, that is worth examining. Our hope is in the Lord.
Second, we must return to repentance, humility, and sustained intercession. Second Chronicles 7:14 calls God’s people to humble themselves, pray, seek His face, and turn from their wicked ways. Notice who that verse addresses. It is not addressed to the nation at large. It is addressed to “my people, which are called by my name.” The healing of the land begins with the repentance of the Church. That command is not conditional upon favorable election results. It is a continuing responsibility, and it may be a more urgent one today than it was yesterday.
The Call Before Us
The election is over. The responsibility of the Church is not.
We must pray for President Trump, for the newly elected members of Congress, for governors, legislators, and judges, including those whose convictions are far from ours. First Timothy 2 does not give us the option of praying only for the leaders we chose. We must pray for the protection of unborn life, the strengthening of families, wisdom in immigration policy, and peace in the Middle East.
And we must pray for a spiritual awakening across America.
God’s perfect will remains our standard. God’s permissive will reminds us that He remains sovereign even when events unfold contrary to His revealed commands.
Our calling is not to retreat, to surrender, or to become consumed by political disappointment. Nor is it to pretend that nothing happened. Our calling is to humble ourselves before Almighty God, to stand faithfully upon His Word, and to intercede for our nation with more persistence than we had before.
America needs more than a political correction. America needs a spiritual awakening and a cultural reformation.
And the Church must lead the way in prayer.
A Prayer for America
Heavenly Father, we humble ourselves before You. Forgive us for placing our confidence in human power rather than in Your sovereign authority.
Expose complacency within Your Church. Restore our commitment to Your Word. Awaken a spirit of repentance and sustained intercession across this nation.
Grant wisdom to President Trump and to every newly elected leader. Protect innocent life, strengthen marriages and families, establish righteousness in our laws, guide our immigration policies, and give our leaders wisdom concerning Israel.
Where our nation has departed from Your standards, bring conviction and correction. Where Your permissive will has allowed difficult circumstances, give us discernment, humility, and obedience.
May Your perfect will be our pursuit, Your Word our authority, and Your glory our highest purpose.

Father in Heaven,
Thank You for another day, for life and health and Your reassuring presence. You have heard our prayers, and You have done, and will continue to do, what is right and what will accomplish Your Sovereign will.
We will continue to pray for the churches of this nation and the people in them, as well as the masses, that they would awake from their sleep and repent of their sins and be converted that they might discern good from evil and desire what is good for their families and their neighbors.
I pray that You will have mercy upon us, and that we will not too quickly be thrust back into having to fight to keep males out of girls bathrooms and having to watch as children are indoctrinated and gender-confused, administered cross sex hormones and their bodies mutilated… Have mercy upon us. O Lord.
You gave us a reprieve two years ago when ruling parties changed and the President did what he had promised Christians he would do by ordering many changes, but it was not followed by lawmakers making those changes permanent. No legislation was passed that would secure any of those reliefs for us, and now we have coming into power those who have stripped You from any mention in their platform which promotes all the evils mentioned as well as their promotion of homosexuals, Islamists, Socialist and all those evil practices You hate.
So many people prayed for a different outcome of the elections, but we have to admit it was presumptive prayer. It was prayer not preceded by repentance of the church and the people who call themselves Christian. We deserve nothing better than whatever comes. We have been so blessed, like a spoiled child, we ask, You have been gracious, and we have received, but we have not cherished the blessing of liberty and freedom enough to turn our backs on evil and affluence and comfort… as if we deserved the things we were receiving from your hand. Have mercy upon us, O Lord.
Father, You are good and Your Truth and Your mercy endures forever.
Please forgive those who call themselves by Your name, but do not consider it worth their time to thank You for the blessings You have poured upon the United States of America and not performed their duty to be salt and light and to do their civic duty to vote for the best possible ones to bear rule over the nation. Have mercy upon them, O Lord. Have mercy on us.
Lord, please help Your obedient children to not be discouraged, but to continue faithful in prayer and Thanksgiving for Your long-suffering faithfulness to us. I raise to You this doxology:

Lord I pray for those men and women who will remain in office and who know you and are known by you. Lord give them wisdom and discernment; courage and boldness. You will use a remnant to accomplish your will. We pray for their protection as they stand for righteousness. Let their voice be strong and clear and let their light shine through the darkness. I declare they are a light on a hill, a beacon for Jesus. Draw those senators and congressmen and women who don’t know you to these light bearers. Use the remnant of believers who remain in office across our state to bring glory to you LORD.

If you really want to know what is going on in the big picture, read the book “The Great Controversy.” God is still on the throne. And His kingdom is not of this world. He is still in control and is never surprised by what happens. It encourages me to be a brighter light to shine for Him. That is our part!

In the name of the Eternal King Jesus, our heavenly Father, King of Kings, we praise You that You are still on the throne, that You still reign. We ask that leaders will follow You not selves. We ask for grace and mercy to keep USA from abortion, same-sex marriage, boys in girls sports, Sharia Law. If not, we ask that You, Holy and Just God, bring forth modern day Daniels, Jeremiahs, Elishas, Isaiahs and Hoseas that will point the nation back to You. The rebuilding of the wall has not come to an end. We are to continue praying over every state in our nation, every elected official. I will start over once again with day 1, praying over each state…praying for the new elected and declaring the Word of God. When done all to stand…WE STAND…God is in full control. His will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
This is not a mere political issue It’s evil versus good and sadly too many Americans who call themselves Christian’s have sat this one out

First, I was very sad about our election since I had prayed so much to our dear GOD for the best outcome, for our President to continue feeling your blessing and direction, and for our many lost American people to remember God and his desire for all of us to do good. We desperately need prayers from all Americans to remember that our country was founded in the name of GOD, and we all need to remember this. I will continue praying with others in our country to bless our president during his next two years in office.
This has been most sobering. May this election cause us as the people of God to wake up, to listen, be discerning and consistent in following hard after God. It was hard to see the results, but it was also encouraging to hear pastors saying openly that we have a responsibility to vote and to take a part in the course of our nation.
It all starts with us in our families, in our neighborhoods, cities, county, state and nation. May this alarm continues to ring in our hearts and mind that we have responsibility before God to stand for righteousness.
May we never as a nation depart from God or the people of God. I see America and Israel link together by our dependence on God together we are unbeatable separate it’s worst for us than from them.
May the Lord sustain our president and give him the determination and courage to finish what he has started. I also pray that just like God stood with Gideon, He will stand with our president. I pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for the health and protection of these United States.

This is NOT over. If the righteous people found evidence of fraud since the 2020 elections and every one after plus State election frauds, why do we think this would be different? Pray for continued EXPOSURE of ALL wrong doings, corruption and frauds. We MUST be awake and alert on what is actually happening. We, especially the followers of Jesus Christ, are to be shouting the loudest for justice and righteousness to be flowing from the throne of God asking for mercy in our time of trouble. Do NOT be afraid, but be strong in the Lord and in the power of HIS might to rescue us from this wickedness and evil. Stand STRONG and FIRM. God will help us in this battle. Praying that God 🙏 will be Done
I rejoice in the majority of results here in Florida, but am grieved that the Dems have the majority in both the House and Senate. I repent for the Church standing by and allowing so many generations to be indoctrinated by the left through our public education system. It’s no wonder we now have a population that is willing to allow socialism and Islamism into our government out of sheer ignorance of our national heritage. We have been rightfully spanked by our Papa God.
The threat to Israel from Iran has been greatly diminished this year. I think it makes sense to lower the defense assistance after spending 50 billion this year and we are near a debt crisis. I don’t think it means we want Israel to be less defended. The next president will be very important.
Our trust in God should exceed our trust in bombs $.
I believe one of the best examples of deception, especially regarding this election, is the election of Talarico of TX. If you’ve followed him, his speeches, his religious rhetoric & his ability to twist scripture into a perverse statement that “this is what God says”, its a moment in history of just how far people are from knowing God’s word. The incredible deception Talarico is under & sadly, Christians that believe & voted for him…sets a new standard of murkiness I’ve rarely witnessed in my long lifetime. A lot of Christians or those proclaiming to be, voting for & defending him – a person who openly supports multiple forms of perversity & distorted beliefs. It calls into question(s) the people’s belief system who voted & support him…and the depth of falsehood they’ve embraced. Honestly, the severity of their deception makes me wonder if their church or body of believers ever preaches the actual word of God. We are witnessing a fast moving separation today between real, committed believers & those who say they know Christ….but have zero fruit evidence.
I’m already praying he (Talarico) will come to the real truth of Christ but I’m also praying for his removal from office, even if he hasn’t been sworn in. I will encourage others to pray for newly elected officials & for the truth to be revealed. We saw evidence of the “showman politics” when El Sayad was running for office…and who he really is 1 minute “after” he won in his victory speech. Think about that. The state of MI elected someone who fully supports radical Islam & their ideology. They put someone in office who will be willing to give away US secrets to radicals that he supports…radicals that chant “death to America”. Let that sink in – especially in how to pray for him.
Beware the leaven of the Pharisees and tend to your own household first. Your ire should be directed at Ken Paxton and the megachurch millionaires who have brought shame to the name of Christ through their corruptions, greed, adultery, and hypocrisies.

In our prayers, we declare the Word of God assertively and seal each declaration with the triumphant proclamation, “It is Written.” Let us remember John 15:5: we abide in the Vine, and apart from Him, we can do nothing. I think too many Christians have fallen for the NAR lie that we will take over human government before Jesus returns. We will not. Just as these self-appointed “prophets and apostles” are frauds, their theology is designed to appeal to the flesh. It tries to eliminate any suffering for the Gospel which is highly ironic considering the mass slaughter of our far more mature and serious brothers and sisters around the globe. People can “decree” all they want but they cannot tell God how to carry out His plans.
It’s the conservatives who are distancing themselves now from Israel, the last step before this nation tumbles over the cliff. And
it’s Trump who has kept this mess going in Iran while his protégés, Kushner and Witkoff use the “peace negotiations” as cover for
their real job, making millions through financial deals in the Mideast and
the Balkans.

I pray faithfully for our sovereign nation to not fail. We are a nation created “ In God We Trust”. One nation under God.
We are a nation under judgement. John Calvin wrote ” When God wants to judge a nation, He gives them wicked rulers.”
We need to pray as never before and the Church in Christ needs to be sharing Jesus with the unsaved.
As prayer for our leaders both previous and new is required, I will not simply pray blessings on everyone. I will pray for Wisdom, Understanding, and Discernment on our Godly leaders. I will pray conviction, revelation, and repentance on the ungodly, And I pray for Awakening for the Body of Christ!!

Over 30 years ago I received a call from our Lord to take an area from one mountain pass to another and of course all the land between and visit every church possible and receive while there in their midst, a prophetic word for revival to their pastors leadership to pass on to their people.
Did they? Apparently not! Number one reason they do not think they need revival, repenting and all such things. Number two they cut Jesus’ model of sending Apostles, prophets and evangelist to the church for such things!
They cut off three major arteries to the health of the body of Christ along time ago!
(Exceptions, remnants knew these things).
Now after all these years they are being made accountable for pleasing man ( family, social be goodies, comfortable being a form of godliness without power of the Holy Spirit flowing out to win those who are waiting for hope, truth, salvation of soul, spirit and body. This was and still is like a virus that has affected every born again believer, Spiritfilled or backslidden to this day, myself included. Lord innoculate us from this unbelieving sin, doubting, double mindedness, fleshly, worldly sin virus
That in our comfort and man pleasing laziness has griped us in one way or another; please deliver us, everyone, in Jesus mighty name. Amen, Everyday, I repent, and accept Your deliverance! Join me church to be accountable to our Father, not man or the world system of Satan!

Who is to say that in putting people so far from God’s standard in the public spotlight that their radical salvation might not be the catalyst to spark revival in our land. I feel we are at a 12 spies moment. Will we be like Caleb and Joshua and say But God. With God we can see revival. I do not want to be one of the 10 that gave up in fear. All things are possible with God.

I am feeling such a heaviness. The article helps, as I know I’m not alone.. but it is deep. I am depressed and discouraged. relating more with the weeping Prophet Jeremiah than any other biblical figure today. I see the election as SO close. this wasn’t a tsunami WAVE, it was a little wave caused by Trump derangement. and estrangement from God. Those 2 things converged. weak mindedness. People who can’t see the point of a war with Iran. The cities of major border States have been seized by restlessness and spiritual blindness. People want the government to solve their problems , yet they have sold ( ahead of time) their freedoms, like Esau selling his birthright for soup. We know the outcome of this terrible exchange. God is sovereign, so I rest in that, or I could not rest at all. we have great work to do, we must teach our youth to see past the internet. the Ai. the media manipulation. Christ brings all into focus. He gives us discernment and critical thinking must be taught day by day. Don’t neglect praying for us parents. I am 48, with 7, 14. and 17 year old. we need prayers. we are battling so much as the enemy tries to rip control away. and distracts with technology. We need generations to understand Freedom fades when Faith does. we must turn to God again and again for mercy, wisdom, and strength. the battle is fierce. but we are NOT alone! 🙌

Thank you for the encouragement of this post. It’s very discouraging for Christians to realize that we could be facing a very radical democrat party of socialists. It was like a breath of fresh air to read this article. I felt my spirit struggling with the shocking reality. President Trump has been such a great leader and has initiated a plan that will bring prosperity and peace to our county and the possibility of peace to our world. It is difficult to understand how an entire political party could seize control of our country. It is very fearful to realize that the democrat party has become the socialist party and has been controlled largely by the progressive ideation. To read the beautiful words of this article which gave me so much peace is amazing and so helpful. Yes, our almighty God is in control and our responsibility as Christians is to seek wisdom and understanding through prayer. My gut was about as wrong as it’s ever been about something. Turns out my gut was really just wishful thinking.
Am I surprised? Yep. Am I shocked? Nope. When you’ve lived as long as I have, not a whole lot shocks you. In 1996, nine years after Robert Bork was borked by the Democrats so fearful of having Roe vs. Wade overturned, he wrote a book called “Slouching Towards Gomorrah.” The main theme of that book was that America and western civilization were in serious moral and cultural decline driven by what he called “modern liberalism” – not to be confused with classical liberalism. Over the years, I have said a number of times that we are not “slouching” but, rather, sprinting.
For my entire adult life, I have been watching the middle ground disappear. Over the last decade, it has been at an ever-increasing accelerated pace. I don’t expect it to slow down.
Social media and the algorithms associated with it haven’t helped. Make no mistake – whatever the algorithm produces on your social media feed, that’s who you are. There are people making gazillions on clicks because of this fact. It’s a strange new world where Pilate’s question to Jesus – “What is truth?” – is more and more difficult to answer – despite more information than ever bombarding humanity.
But in the grand scheme of eternity, this disappearance of the middle ground is not a bad thing. It is an unsettling thing. But most of human history – beginning with the murder of Abel by his brother, Cain – has been unsettling.

The “gray” disappearing is a good thing – black/white is clarifying.
But now, sadly the Biblical warning is being fulfilled – good is being called evil, and evil is being called good.
Personally, I believe the Lord is removing the possibility of sitting on the fence by turning it into a razor-sharp blade. Choose you this day whom you will serve – and move to one side of the fence or the other.
At first I was very disappointed, confused, questioning whether we had heard correctly from the Lord prophetically and even a bit angry and fearful. I worked the election that day so I was tired and in no mood to listen to the pundits as they salivated over the results. So, I busied myself with stuff, prayed and asked God what went wrong and what was His purpose in allowing this. I went to bed with all this whirling around in my head.
The next morning I woke with sadness but prayed, read my Bible and devotions, prayed some more and then listened to Julie Green, a modern day prophet, as she recounted her thoughts and feelings which mirrored mine. Then she shared what the Lord spoke to her spirit as He asked her numerous times if His hand had waxed short. Is God in control or not? Do we believe He is snd trust Him or not? By the end of her message I found that I was greatly encouraged and told the Lord that, no matter what, I trust Him to bring something good out of a seemingly bad situation.
Our task now is to intercede for our nation, pray for President Trump to humbly seek the Lord’s will, to pray for the new people coming in that they will submit to the Lord not ideology and then to trust God for our nation.
It’s going to require dedicated prayer snd intercession. Are you up for it? I am. Let’s get going and watch and see what are Good and Gracious Father will do. Amen
Sharon, I agree with what you have expressed! I felt similar feelings and was depressed, fearing the worst. With God’s grace, I have concluded the same thing, that God’s will be done and that Christians need to pray and work towards electing God-fearing people to represent us in upcoming elections. As we progress in the days ahead, we WILL see progress and we must remember to give God all the praise and thank Him for his loving watch-care and goodness.

I believe Amir Tsarfati of Behold Israel confirmed that Bibi even initiated this suggestion, said they could handle it themselves. I’d have to check his Telegram feed. He is close to Bibi and very reliable on his knowledge of everything , especially prophecy, regarding Israel and the Middle East. He came to the Messiah (Christ) through reading Isaiah 53. Well-known author and speaker.
The original statement from Bibi is that he would like to wean Israel off of our financial aid by 2030. Whether this accelerated timeframe was a surprise or not, I haven’t heard commentary from any reliable sources.
There are so many ways that the election results can be interpreted. I believe that the most important thing is for us to trust the Lord and the fact that He has not left His throne on high. Politics are fickle, and are subject to change What occurred in the recent mid year election is an example of this. In my opinion, this is just more confirmation that Almighty God has left our nation to its own devices. As a result of the national sin of killing unborn babies, He has removed His hand of blessing from our nation. This can be reversed, IF we, as a nation, repent of our horrendous sin of abortion. Father, we thank you for President Kubal’s wonderful letter of compassion and understanding.
The Lord’s prayer says “May your Kingdom come, your will be done.”
We need to focus on the power we have over evil forces, given in Luke 10:19 and to know that God is still working through President Trump, whose term ends January 20, 2029. We must pray as we never have before for the kingdom to come, God’s will to be done. In Jesus’ name.
This is a season of revival. Let’s win souls and see them established in church.

Wonderful reminders to all Christians. God is still working in our country and in our world. Great things are happening! In Iran so many people are converting to the Christian faith. The Church in America is seeing amazing growth! We just need to pray and trust that our almighty triune God can handle this crazy world…we have insight into the story and how it ends! So, let’s take a deep breath and praise and worship our loving God.
It seems to me that we can’t ignore the fact that at least some of the newly elected Democrats, including Pastor Adam Hamilton from Kansas and seminarian James Talarico from Texas, are deeply Christian, and preaching and practicing a Godly life. How does Jesus feel about this? Are we sure that Jesus is unhappy with these results? Are these people not God’s people?
Meanwhile, some of the Republicans who lost were clearly ungodly men. Is Jesus unhappy that they lost?
I think that at least in some cases we need to praise God for these results, that more Godly men (and presumably some Godly women too), even if they are not Republicans, have been elected. Let’s be open to the possibility that God is working through these results, to call His people back towards greater compassion, unity and love. This is the way that Jesus taught us how to live.
Politicians can claim to be Christians, and can quote Scripture, and can sound very nice – and still not know YHVH through His Son Yeshua, and can spout policy positions that are completely anti-Biblical. We need to be discerning.

The democrats are (for the moment) proudly and boastfully excited about assuming a position of power over their political opponents and over the future of America. However they do not yet realize that they have put themselves into opposition not only to men, but to the Lord God Almighty Himself with their plans to tear down and remake this country which God inspired, planted in the hearts of men, and nourished into the powerful nation which it is today – a Christian nation. America would not have survived 250 years without the divine providence and protection of the God of Abraham, Isacc, and Jacob. It has become and is becoming the Great Eagle of Revelation that will protect the mother of the child and all who attack from within or without will fail – for the Lord God is their defender. The Democrat party itself has made itself a target of God by linking arms with those who would subjugate and destroy God’s people, with those who seek to kill little children in the womb (even up to and past the moment of birth), linking arms with those who would mutilate the infants who survive, or groom them as prey for perversion. In seeking power for themselves they have made a pact with the devil and will reap a terrible harvest from what they have sown. I pray that many in the party will come to their senses and repent of what they have done before it is too late to receive mercy, Lord God have mercy and draw them to repentance! Amen

Very disheartening that Trump cut off aid to Israel. Every time a President in the U.S. does something against Israel there are consequences.
Also just a thought – if Christian’s spent as much time in prayer as they do waiting in lines to get into political rally’s and watching political programs- where would we be today. Those things are not bad in themselves- but there has been too much focus on those things.

The Israel that aid was cut from is not the Israel the Lord is referring to. The Lord said that all who bless Israel will be blessed- that means the PEOPLE of Israel. The people living in Israel today are not Israelites. most of them are not Jewish at all. They were people that created a nation for themselves after the war under the disguise of the Lord. They are several generations old and people that were kicked out of several other countries for causing trouble. they are actually anti-God. I pray that the Lord restores the chosen land.
It is my understanding that Netanyahu said that they did not want the aid. It was a wash since we sent them 3 billion dollars (I think) and they purchased 3 billion dollars in military “tools”. 🙂

Psalm 20 was referenced in his article. I’m not in denial about what the election results say about the present condition of our nation and mean for the future of our country, but I agree with needing to understand God’s perfect will and His permissive will and recognize that He alone is Omnipotent and Omniscient and gets the glory. That being said, I felt my husband’s lament over the results was not “magnifying the Lord,” but magnifying a false triumph of man. I felt the only intervention was to read the Word aloud together, so I asked the Lord for a passage to read. The Psalms came to mind. I asked which one. “Trust not in horse and chariots” came to mind. I looked it up and saw that it was Psalm 20, which I asked my husband to read aloud at dinner time. At bedtime we prayed it over America and Israel. This morning, I shared some of what this article discusses with my husband, and he said that he was reflecting during his prayer time earlier in the morning on Samuel and Saul and God’s reminder to Samuel about Whom the people of Israel were really rejecting. God is already speaking to us through His Word, with the guidance of Holy Spirit, and He is already redirecting our hearts’ response to the results of the election. He is our portion forever. “ Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you. I was so upset in President DJT first term he had many Republicans fighting against him and they received the title Rino Republicans. Isaiah 59:19 19 So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.
We also need to read the whole chapter that led into God’s victory. Similar to now and America.
We have His promise.

Thank you, Dave, for an excellent and encouraging article. The discussion of YHVH’s perfect vs. permissive will, or His Sovereignty vs. free will has always fascinated me. He does not nor has He ever abdicated His authority over all things, an authority He shares with Yeshua. But that authority does not demand obedience from human beings, it instead provides parameters or boundaries and limits and then allows choice. The choices we make then have consequences that He has already clearly defined in His Word. We are now seeing the interplay of these principles at a national level.
This may be YHVH’s righteous judgement of “guilty” upon our nation. We either receive Godly leadership which blesses, or we receive unGodly leadership which causes us to mourn and suffer. Did we receive the leaders we deserve – not as individuals, but as a nation? Let’s not assume that it is either judgement or revival/awakening, because they often arrive in tandem. The consequences of our decisions can lead to true repentance, which can result in revival of the ekklesia, and awakening of the lost. That is what I cry out for, YHVH!

It’s only been a day. I’m grieved because I know the Democrats’ agenda. But this morning I asked God to prepare the body of Christ for what may be coming. At the same time, I pray that as many as can be saved in this largely godless party will be. I pray that the church will fervently intercede on behalf of the unborn & children in schools being taught ungodly things. I pray we restrain things as we should.
God is still God and we are not. Our submittal to God is that His Kingdom Come and His Will be done. Sin is crouching at the door of this nation that it may take hold of it but we Christians can humble ourselves and pray that revival takes place in this nation and many will be saved by Christ Blood, shed on the cross for us.
God ways are not man’s ways, and we submit to all that is happening to His Glory Amen.
President Trump said, US ending $4B aid to Israel, because they don’t need financial aid. But US will continue to support Israel as an ally.
I pray that as more liberal causes may be furthered, the Body of Christ will stand firm. I believe the election results may be God’s judgment on America, and we, the Church, need to be the salt and light to potentially corrupt, ungodly leaders. Eyes on the Lord, unwavering.

The give him fifteen post for yesterday, 11/4/26 by Dutch Sheets cited this scripture. Over the weekend, my husband and I watched a documentary of modern miracles in Israels history. The miracle Michmash was repeated twice in history. Once in the Bible in I Samuel 14, wherein the Philistines were thrown into confusion and routed. After an initial brave attack by Jonathan and his armor bearer and again during WWI. A British commander was with the forces fighting the Ottomans in the Holy Land, and he read 1 Sam 14. He showed it to his commander, and they implemented the same strategy, and Ottomans were miraculously confused and routed after the initial attack, and eventually the Balfour declaration came forth, and you know the rest of the story, Israel was eventually reborn in 1948.
I don’t believe this was a coincidence, that we watched the documentary of Michmash and GH15, referred to this somewhat obscure passage. He can save by the few, and frequently does. Keep praying and acting and speaking in grace and truth, remnant church!
Will God reach lawmakers through an angelic appearance and the people through revival, at His appointed time? I believe so. I am sad for the people who voted against Gods principles, and I am sad for the adversity that is likely to ensue. However, they will repent and return to the Lord and revival and transformation will ensue in His appointed time.
Will America be saved for the purposes of a third great awakening here in America and around the globe? You betcha! Keep praying, church. For He presides over the great assembly, (Psalm 82), and no plan of His can be thwarted, again in His appointed time.
Dear Lord, thank you that you make all things beautiful in their time, and you cause all things to work together for the good of those who love you, who are called according to your purpose. Give us strength, fortitude and faith to continue to pray and to share and live the gospel and speak truth and grace in every sphere of life, and to live in repentance. Thank you for them. Many examples in scripture where are you save through only your power through the few who believe on your name.

Yes, l believed what you said in message.God gave man a free will,but, man sinned,and has done what is right in his own eyes.Since the 1960″s our society has gone from bad to worst.We”ve accepted everything from sexual freedom,abortion,homosexuality,woman rights and transgenderism.And the church has been silent and secularists have taken over.We are no longer a Christian nation,but, a post-Christian nation. We’ve watered down the gospel to tickle people’s ears make them feel good,entertain them,but not given the true gospel.Yes the church needs to repent,or will go down like every other great power and fall.

As it was in ancient Israel and Judah before the captivity I believe we are suffering now for our stupidity, lack of vigilance, lack of appreciation for all that God has given us and our lack of real faith in Him. May God have mercy on us.
Lord God we pray for your church to be on war footing to be serious in our repentance and humility and turn to you. To overcome the false church that has risen in too many mainline denominations that speak and believe contrary to your word. Raise up a church that is spirit filled, prays, teaches the true word of God without fear of man, they teach the bible, raise disciples not religion build up structure to reach people the word and use it to bring others to Christ. A church that is strong snd defeats evil thru the power of your word prayer and faith in you. . A church without compromise and leaders of integrity and faith teaching the word to all generations and influence into all levels of authority.
Lord we know this battle is spiritual and pray your people will put on the full armor God that you would cover us with the blood of Jesus as we pray our nation would once again be a nation that honors and seeks you always.
Let us shake off the spirit of apathy , deception, laziness, and fear and be a body that is strong with understanding and is moving from victory to victory.
Let us not delay and have urgency for the sole of our nation.

I am not shocked by the results of this election, Jonathan Kahn, Eric Metals, Jack Hibbs, even Charlie Kirk warned us about this. Many “Christians” did not vote, I have tried to get voters guides into churches, pastors refuse concerned more about the “bottom line” than equipping their congregations. I have spoken to pastors about children being exposed to porn, the LGBTQ agenda and other evils, I am told those are political issues! I went door to door campaigning for a Christian and the number one issue was “the economy.!” Not the killing of children, not sex trafficking, their pocketbooks! God will give us what we asked for socialism and open boarders will ruin our economy and our nation, we will get what we wanted!!!
Yes, Conni. How sad that those who claim to know the Lord, place their pocketbook above obedience to Him and to His Word. Isn’t He YHVH Yireh, the Lord who provides? The government is not our provider.
